Music – Sorry 4 Da Wait seems to deliver four fresh songs at first glance. The tracks “Different Day”, “2024”, “Backr00ms” and “Fomdj” already appeared in various versions on its previous albums. These were published with the titles Music – V1, Music – V2 and Music – V3 in digital form on the rapper’s website and offered for sale there. “Backr00ms” came in collaboration with Travis Scott Herauas.
Threats of Kanye West
Especially around the song “Different Day” there was controversy on the Internet before the new release. Kanye West had verbally attacked Playboi Carti on social media and threatened him to “end his career” on the grounds that the song he produced was not released on the main album. At least so “NME” reported. Carti had also tried to get his daughter North West on the album as a feature. Ye then claimed that Carti had painted him from Music in order not to be canceled.
