Exclusive. Two café bosses arrested after at least 30 complaints about spiking: “They numb female customers to rap them”

In the investigation into spiking in the entertainment neighborhood of Kortrijk, eight people were arrested yesterday and this morning in house searches. Among them two hospitality entrepreneurs: the manager of the popular youth café De Painted Vogel and the former bartender of the now closed patron. They are considered the pivotal figures in a network that secretly drug young women to rap them. There are at least 30 victims, of whom half of whom may also have been sexually abused.
