After the change of sides, Germany took control again. In the 56th minute it was again the duo fog and Woltemade, which caused the lead goal: after a strong rotation in the five-meter room, the VfB striker scored 2-1.

Woltemade put the end of the end – after a cross of the substitute Jens Castrop, he headed the ball to the bottom edge of the latte and from there into the goal (79.). The audience celebrated the team with a La-Ola wave.

For the German U21 it was the 15th game in a row without defeat. Before the game, head coach DI Salvo had already expressed himself positively about the offensive game of the A national team in the 3: 3 against Italy and announced that he wanted to look up “some things” for his team.
