Ski freestyler Muriel Mohr suffered a cruciate ligament tear in a training session. This ends the season for the 18-year-old prematurely.

Job message for the DSV: Muriel Mohr, Germany’s hopefuls in ski freestyle, fell heavily on Sunday (March 23, 2025) during a training jump and contracted a cruciate ligament tear. For the 18-year-old, this not only ends the World Cup in St. Moritz, but also the whole season.

“So I didn’t want to end my incredible season”wrote Mohr on her Instagram channel. This season she had jumped on the podium at two Big Air World Cups and was considered a candidate at a top place at the World Cup. Mohr has already been operated on successfully. The DSV announced that Mohr could train on snow again in a favorable healing process in around six months.

“This summer I will train harder than ever before and come back even more”according to the Oberbayiner. Because in the coming year the goal is clear: Mohr wants to attack at the front of the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
