Peter Gillis is no longer suspected of one, but of several assaults from his ex-partner Nicol Kremers. That became clear on Monday in the court in Den Bosch. The case, which would serve on Monday with the Politiechter, was postponed.

Gillis was initially only accused of a mistreatment on 29 May 2022 in Holiday Park Prinsenmeer in Ommel. He would then have bitten Kremers in her back and nose. The criminal case was actually planned for the police judge in 2023, but was moved because his ex also reported other abuse.

Answer for more judges
The Public Prosecution Service believes that the case should be referred to the Multiple Chamber, which means that Gillis has to answer for three judges. The two abuse cases are then treated at the same time. It is unclear which exact suspicions are added. A new date is not yet known. Gillis and Kremers were both not present in the courtroom.

Kremers recently made a request to the court to make her ex heard under oath, in order to prove that she would have signed a contract forced. The judge did not go along with that. According to that contract, she should not say anything about events during the relationship. She plans to publish a book about her life, but the publication thereof has been postponed.

Tax fraud
The abuse case is not the only thing that runs against Gillis. The OM demanded eighteen months in prison in January (six of which are conditional) against him for, among other things, committing tax fraud for years. That ruling is on 10 April.
