Student dropout remains high: nearly 30,000 young people leave school without a diploma

Despite a slight decrease last school year, the student failure was high: 29,163 young people left education without basic qualification. Secondary education in particular is struggling with more early school leavers. “The assignment remains high,” writes education minister Eppo Bruins (NSC) in a letter to the Chamber.
