On a construction site on the Nieuwe Steen in Hoorn, a pile -driving machine fell over and ended up on a few cars. According to the security region, nobody was injured. It is still unclear how the accident could have happened.
Allegedly the machine would be placed on a trailer. It went wrong around 1 p.m. when the crane fell over and ended up on a few cars. At first it was thought that someone was in one of the affected cars. That turned out not to be the case.
Investigation into accident
One person has been checked by ambulance personnel. The Labor Inspectorate conducts research and was not yet available for comment. Because diesel has been leaked, the Environment Agency is present according to the Safety Region.
