Istanbul – The mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu is provisionally suspended by the Turkish Ministry of the Interior from his position, together with two district mayors of his party. The city council will choose the deputy mayor next Wednesday. The party of Imamoglu, the Social -Democratic Secular Opposition Party CHP, has the majority there.
