In a modest parade along the Waterlijn, family, friends, colleagues and other attendees of the three gapers walked to the surf club. The family was in the lead after they said goodbye to an intimate circle earlier that morning. With this beach walk they wanted to give Levy a suitable tribute.
Levy was working in Italy as a ski monitor for a travel company when he became unwell in his room on 8 March. Heart failure was probably fatal to him. The loss is still difficult for his good friends to comprehend.
