Breaks for Manuel Neuer – Longer Pause threatens

After his muscle fiber tear, Manuel Neuer worked again on his comeback. But now he has to pause unexpectedly. Maybe even for a long time.
Manuel Neuer had to take a bitter setback on his way of improvement. As FC Bayern announced in a message on Saturday, a “reaction in the muscles of the calf” occurred in the construction training. After the goalkeeper had completed a unit with a ball for the first time since his muscle fiber tear suffered about two weeks ago, Neuer “in the coming days” will take a training break again.
The Bayern captain had curious the injury in the right calf in the Champions League first leg against Bayer Leverkusen at the goal celebration (3-0). Whether Neuer is already an option for the Bundesliga home game against FC St. Pauli (March 29) after the international break, remained open. Sky reported on Saturday afternoon, new threat not only for the game against St. Pauli, but also for the game on the following matchday against FC Augsburg.
