A piece of roadside is on fire on the A28 between the Hoogeveen exit and the Fluitenberg exit.
The fire brigade is busy extinguishing, but due to the strong wind the fire spreads quickly.
Rijkswaterstaat has closed a lane for traffic. It is not known how the fire could arise on the roadside, arson is not excluded.
