Netanyahu lets others die to survive politically. But is he too much for the scandal?

The fact that there is suddenly fierce fighting on the Gaza Strip has a lot to do with the political urge to survive of Israel’s Prime Minister. Netanyahu had to resume the war to save his government – and also postponed a lawsuit. But in the meantime he is already over his ears in the next scandal. That of close employees who were paid by Qatar – the country that Hamas offered shelter. To escape from that too, the prime minister now kicks so wildly that even the president fell him. So the question is whether this can take a long time.
