Next setback for 1. FC Köln: The billy goats have to do without Dominique Heintz for the time being. The central defender suffered a muscle injury in his thigh on Wednesday. The veteran will fail for the time being and will probably miss the games at SC Paderborn and against Prussia Münster.
But that’s not all: on Thursday in the test game against SC Verl – FC lost 1: 2 after weak performance – Mark Uth could not be used. The striker that is prone to injury had to stop warming up after feeling a stab in the calf. Now Uth has to be examined in more detail.
Jusuf Gazibegovic will probably no longer be available to 1st FC Köln this season. The newcomer threatens the seasonal off because of a syndesmoseriss. This was confirmed by coach Gerhard Struber at the Geißbockheim on Wednesday. The winter newcomer to the billy goats had seriously injured 98 in the home game against SV Darmstadt.
