Drug authority warns of cancer treatments offered through online advertisements

The European Medicines Authority (EMA), part of the EU, warns patients of dubious clinics and companies that offer uncontrolled cancer treatments via the internet. According to the EMA, more and more illegal therapies are being offered directly to patients, often under the guise of a ‘last hope’.
