MIlano, Mar 20 (askanews) – Reportage Beyond Reportage land for the third year a My photo fair With the curatorship of Emanuela Mazzonis and invites the public to a visual journey between the works of photographers of different generations and nationality, some of which presented in Milan for the first time.
Starting from Thesis of Susan Sontag who in 1977 wrote that photographing means appropriateing what is photographed, The section focuses the spotlight on the need to restore an authentic relationship between photographer and event and on how the traditional reporting concept is overcome, exploring a documentary photograph that tells personal and collective stories that can stimulate questions rather than offering definitive answers.
The theme of the edition finds multiple connections with the photographic universe, focusing in particular on relationship between photographer and subject, between man and nature, between memory and identity. Emanuela Mazzonis presented the section to askanews.
