Marc Cain is launching a new knitting capsule, inspired by the glamorous ski resort Aspen. The collection embodies effortless luxury and offers the perfect looks for après-ski or a cozy trip to the mountains, all about wellness and stylish lounge. The designs combine timeless elegance with a touch of opulence, accentuated by fine sequins.
The heart of the collection is a yarn of a high-quality cashmere silk-wool mixture, which was further refined in collaboration with a long-time Italian yarn supplier. The composition combines the incomparable softness of cashmere with the durability and quality of the thread mix, which means that the material is less susceptible to pilling. Thanks to the exceptionally fine structure of the yarn, both filigree and rough knitting patterns can be realized, which makes the collection unique.
The designs impress with luxurious details that form the core of the collection and take up the “Loud Luxury” fashion trend. Delicate sequins set elegant accents, whether as woven mini-sequins, highlights in gold or silver or discreetly shimmering as a garnish. Particularly noteworthy are the exclusive braid patterns, which stitch for stitch by Marc Cain was designed especially for the collection. Refined fringe details, made in the in-house spinning mill, give the knitting parts an extraordinary note. The loops, which remain perfectly in shape even after washing and do not fray, underline precision and craftsmanship that is in every design.
The collection is available in the elegant colors ECRU, camel and gray-melange and available in stores and online from mid-August.
