Keep your head: penguins ensure funny illusion through smart survival trick

A penguin and his chick seem to have lost their heads in strange photos while standing on a beach. In reality it is a survival strategy: the royal penguins created the illusion to push their heads into their bodies. In this way they keep themselves warm against the corrosive weather on Saunders Island, on the Falkland Islands.
