The New England Patriots hired a new center in the NFL around a week after the dismissal of Teamikone David Andrews.

According to aging media reports, the Patriots agreed on Tuesday with Garrett Bradbury on a two -year contract that can bring him up to $ twelve million. 3.8 million dollars should be guaranteed.

Bradbury had previously been released by the Minnesota Vikings. He was originally the 18th pick in the draft 2019 and was the starter in Minnesota for a total of six years. However, the arrival of ex-Colts Center Ryan Kelly had expired in the far north. The discharge took place after it had not been possible to find a trade partner for him.

Bradbury did not play a particularly good season and, according to “Pro Football Focus” with 38, allowed most of the pressures of all centers in the NFL. Its four approved sacks were only exceeded by four other players.

Patriots: Offensive line in change

Bradbury will succeed David Andrews at the Patriots, who was released after a shoulder injury from the previous season a year before the end of the contract after he had formed the heart of the team’s offensive line since 2015. Bradbury is the second new addition to an offensive line that is in transition after being one of the worst of the NFL in the previous year.

In addition to Bradbury, Right Tackle Morgan Moses also came from the New York Jets after Foxborough/Ma. This is apparently 3/5 of the O-Line for the coming season with Michael Onwenu as a right guard. However, the positions Left Tackle and Left Guard are still open. While the Patriots have alternatives with Cole Strange and Layden Robinson in the Guard position, Left Tackle Belibies the biggest problem area.

Here Vederian Lowe was one of the worst players in this position. On the free agent market, Tyron Smith and Cam Robinson are considered the best options, while the draft does not have any obvious upgrades ready.
