A drunk woman crashed into a building with her car on Tuesday night at the Vrouwkensakker in Nuenen. Ukrainians are taken care of in the former school building. The driver, who also lives in the shelter, first drove through a fence and then over the old schoolyard, after which she popped against the facade of the building.
The residents woke up around half -one from the hard bang. Both the building and the car were heavily damaged. The woman would only have the car in her possession for two days.
It seemed for a moment that the car had caught fire after the crash, but when the fire brigade took a closer look, it turned out to be a smoke of coolant and the airbags.
It became clear from a breath test that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. After a check in the ambulance, agents arrested her and took her to the police station.
