The second edition of the Uruguay Envenado Tango Festival – Montevideo Cup arrives with great expectations, consolidating itself as one of the most prominent competitions of the Milonguero circuit. As a deputy of the renowned Tango Avenado Festival, this unique event promises to strengthen cultural ties between Venado Tuerto and Uruguay, with a high -level competition endorsed by jurors of the Tango World Cup.
In this edition, which will take place from April 3 to 12, participants will have the opportunity to compete in qualifying rounds that will take place in 5 departments of Uruguay; Colonia, Rocha, Canelones, Maldonado and Montevideo. The public will be in charge of choosing the participants who will pass to the semifinal, giving the contest a participatory and exciting character. Those who fail to classify in a round may try in the following, increasing their opportunities to advance the championship.
The great semifinal and final will be held on April 12 in Montevideo, where the jury made up of Javier Rodríguez, Claudia Poisó and Silvio the road will determine the champions of this Cup.
The Montevideo Cup elevates the rod of the competition and offers a unique award to the champions, who will classify directly to the final of the Tango Avenado Festival, with all payments payments to participate in Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe. This award includes transfer from Buenos Aires, lodging, tickets to the milongas, classes and the inscription to the championship.
