German biathlon star has a famous girlfriend

At the biathlon World Cup, Philipp Nawrath was recently able to look forward to two medals. And his partner also celebrated some successes in the biathlon because she is not an unknown.
Before the last World Cup weekend in Oslo from March 21st, Philipp Nawrath is the best German. The DSV star is in 13th place in the overall World Cup and recently won twice precious metal at the World Cup: bronze with the mixed relay and bronze with the season.
What many do not know: his girlfriend is also famous. In private, the police officer shares his success with the Norwegian Karoline Offigstad Knotten. The 30-year-old is also a biathlete and is currently in 17th place in the overall World Cup. At the World Cup she won silver with the Norwegian women’s relay around Ingrid Landmark Teldrevold.
There is nothing of the relationship on the Instagram profiles of the two biathletes. They keep their relationship privately. However, the Norwegian confirmed the relationship at the end of 2023. At the time, she said to the Norwegian public service broadcast NRK on request: “We didn’t hide it, we just didn’t market it in any way.”
With a view to the World Cup at the time, she stated: “In the finish area I got kisses and hugs. So if you wanted to notice it, you would have noticed it.” At the time, Nawrath did not want to talk about his private life and just said: “No comment”.
With the Norwegians, she is said to have already been titled as a “traitor” with a smile because in the past she not only kept her fingers crossed for her male teammates, but also to her friend. On comments that she would cheer on Germany, Knotten once countered: “No, I campaigned for Philipp and the Norwegians.”
In January of last year, Knotten said in an interview with the Norwegian portal “VG” with regard to her relationship with Nawrath: “I have the feeling that this is commented on every day in one way or another. The boys only asked today: ‘Are the in -laws there?'” However, she emphasized that she was standing.
According to NRK, they got to know each other at the final ceremony of the 2022/23 season in Oslo in Norway. After a conversation, they kept the contact afterwards and became a couple.
