Lauri and Sari-Anna’s massive renovation contract are still not over.

Renovation eaten all the money

– Everything, Lauri says.

Sari-Anna is Business Director Bar Ihku and Lauri is doing customer work on cars. The two are working on a hair tube to get the money that sunk in the renovation.
– We are both hard working and we have done a lot that we didn’t have to take out a borrowing loan, says Lauri.
Lauri went secretly to look at the house
The two got to know each other through work. They talked a lot on the phone and handled work. However, it took a year before they met face to face.
– Then we met once. Lauri then decided that he wanted me. But it took me a moment when I didn’t understand Lauri’s hints, says Sari-Anna.
But soon Sari-Anta found out what it was all about. The two started dating at times and suddenly they had bought the house.

-Sari-Anna’s guy sent him a link to the house. Look, near you is Väinö Linna’s old home for sale, Lauri says.
-Then Sari-Anna linked it to me. We still had a giggling phase that we were texting for two more at night. I looked at the link and said it was great.
Lauri says she secretly went to see the house alone. He sent Sari-Anna a message that the house was in a great location and Sari-Anna’s horses would fit well there.
– I made an offer for the house and it was approved. I asked if Sari-Anna wanted to join, Lauri says.
– I replied, of course. We are people who do not terribly brake in their lives. We don’t worry about what if something goes wrong, says Sari-Anna.
According to the couple, both related parties were good at this.
– We realized that our parents did not question it at all. Everybody just said it was a bit great that it is Väinö Linna’s old home.
The secret of relationship

Although the duo jumped straight to the deep end, they only feel that their relationship has improved over the years.
The renovation of a demolition house, its adversity, and delay in matters can test the relationship. The two did not even know in advance how the other responded to the stress situation.
But instead of separating their relationship, their relationship has only been condensed with the project.
– Lauri is really open and she talks about everything. It has probably been one of the load -bearing forces here. I myself have always been really independent, so I have had to open up and dare to trust another during the project, says Sari-Anna.
-I myself have learned to understand that if Sari-Anna is angry, it is not always personal. At first, of course, I thought what’s wrong now. But anger can be related to work, horses or anything. Nowadays I can give him his own space, Lauri thinks.
The couple says they enjoy themselves together and have fun together.
– We have a lot of fun. Lauri is the funniest person in the world, of course I’m a little more fun, Sari-Anta laughs.
– Our quarrels often end up laughing. Often we realize that we quarrel about it.
But what happens if the couple differs? What about the house?
– We have agreed that we do not divorce, Lauri says.
-Even if there was no house, we probably would have agreed that we would not divorce, Sari-Anta adds.
According to Sari-Anna, it’s a very simple thing. In challenging situations, you do not think about whether the relationship is working. Instead, they are thinking together about solutions to deal with problems.
