After the victory against Jahn Regensburg, Fortuna Düsseldorf can again orientate himself towards the promotion places of the 2nd Bundesliga, but also benefits from the inability of the bottom of the table.
Fortuna won 1-0 against the bottom of the table on the 26th matchday and initially climbs to seventh place with 41 points. In the 41st minute, Matthias Zimmermann scored the winning goal for the Düsseldorf team, who recently received two bankruptcies and had lost contact with the promotion ranks.
Regensburg has been without his own hits for four games and conceded the 12th away defeat, with 16 points the relegation becomes a bit more unlikely. It remains at least 7 points behind the relegation place, but the other teams in the table cellar could still score.

In the second round, the game hardly offered any excitement, also because Regensburg simply remained too trouble during his attack efforts. The standards are also not suitable for second division. Regensburg is now in 118 corner balls this season, not a single one of which led to a goal.
In the second half, many Düsseldorf fans are likely to have followed the events in the turbulent game between Paderborn and Kaiserslautern with more interest – two teams that the Düsseldorfers can now see again as direct competitors.
