In Bakkerij Rigole in Marke, 11-year-old Seppe is helping today. Seppe has cancer himself, but he doesn’t have to think about that today: “I have now put chocolate on the Eclairs and also made one with the name of my dad, because it was his birthday yesterday. It’s fun to do, but later I don’t become a baker.”
Seppe sometimes has a hard time, especially now that he is in full treatment and has to get chemo every 21 days: “Seppe is currently in a chemo treatment and we notice from research that it is striking,” says Mama Annelies.
At the bakery they think it is important to support this goal: we want to support the promotion with this initiative. For us, the case of Seppe may be a little closer to our bed than with another baker, but we think it is important to tackle this anyway, “concludes Sofie Soenen van Bakkerij Rigole.
