Piles of shoes and cremation ovens: Mexico shocked by find small ‘extermination camp’ of drug gangs

Mexico has reacted with horror to the find of what human rights activists call a ‘destruction camp’ of criminal gangs. In the complex, a walled plot with a few buildings sixty kilometers from the second city of Guadalajara, according to survivors, victims of the gangs were tortured and killed and their bodies in cremation ovens destroyed. Young people were also recruited and forced to work for the gangs.
