Someone was injured on Friday evening at a stabbing on the Kruisstraat in Eindhoven. The suspect fled, but was arrested soon after.
The victim was taken to the hospital with an ambulance. According to eyewitnesses, the man was under the blood. There is also blood on the street.
The stabbing happened a little after half time. The suspect then fled. Investigations led the police to a house near Kruisstraat. When agents surrounded the house and said everyone had to go outside, someone flew into the back garden.
Due to the surrounding police, the suspect could not go anywhere and went back into the house. Agents finally talked him out of the house with pulled weapons and arrested in front of the door.
The reason for the stabbing is not yet clear. “That will have to be seen from statements from the victim, the suspect and possibly witnesses,” the police report. Trace research is also being done. The hands of the suspect are packed in paper bags to secure traces.
