Sydney van Hooijdonk finally scored for NAC. The striker has not yet succeeded since his return to Breda, in January this year. Playing against Almere City FC, the time was finally on Friday evening. But within the minute, Charles-Andreas BRYM was the same and it remained: 1-1, after a moderate match.

Van Hooijdonk scored on a pass from Boyd Lucassen. NAC was apparently so happy with this goal that the concentration was gone. From the kick -off, the home club built an attack, which was cleverly completed by BRYM. The same Almere attacker still had a huge chance in the remainder of the first half, but his header just over the Breda goal.

In the second half, both teams no longer scored, although Almere City defender Jamie Lawrence was still close to the winning goal with a header from a free kick by Thom Haye (ex-NAC). Just before time, Thomas Robinet also missed in a promising position. His header was turned by NAC keeper Daniel Bielica.

Due to the draw, NAC can be found with 29 points in the tenth place of the Eredivisie ranking. Almere City remains last with 15 points.
