The Hanover Regional Court dismissed a lawsuit of the EV against the capital on payment of subsidies of 750,000 euros as “unfounded”. This had terminated the agreed monthly payments because it appears the removal of Kinders as the managing director of the Hannover 96 contract. The contract had been agreed in 2019 by both sides and includes a funding volume of six million euros, of which almost 1.2 million euros have been transferred to the EV.
Thursday in Hanover thus marks another black day in the struggle for the supremacy between the mother club and the capital. Last July, he had gained dynamics again when the long-time investor and multi-million dollar entrepreneur was recalled by the Federal Court of Justice as a club boss. Since then, the EV have not been able to agree on one successor on the one hand and the investors for child on the other, since there is a patient situation on the Supervisory Board.
Only four days left for the license
And this stalemate is now dangerous because the license application at German Football League (DFL) has to be submitted by next Monday (March 17) – and only one managing director may sign it.
