‘In for and adversity’, the fans of PSV always sing in the stands and they showed that in London on Wednesday evening. For 90 minutes, the supporters were in charge despite the fact that the game was a hopeless task after last week’s 7-1 defeat. Peter Bosz extensively considered the fans, but also had to bring less fun news. He should have punished Ismael Saibari just before the game because the midfielder was late for the umpteenth time.

Ismael Saibari would actually be in the basic setup of PSV visiting Arsenal, but a few hours before the kick -off it went wrong. “He did not come for the first, not for the fifth but for the umpteenth time too late,” Bosz was honest about passing his midfielder.

“Then I decided to leave him in the hotel. I was done with it. Then I punish him so that he cannot play this beautiful game. He abandons the team,” Bosz continued his story.

“It’s a nice person, but he needs help with this.”

Whether this promotion also has consequences for the match against RKC next Saturday is still unclear. “I don’t want to drop him. Don’t you do that with your own children?”, Bosz responded to a question from a journalist. “It’s a nice person, only he needs help with this.”

Fortunately, the PSV trainer could be more positive about the game of his team. “Of course you think of the early 1-0 of ‘there we go again’. But in the end we take a right point and I even think we could have won,” he responded to the 2-2 draw.

“I thought at the start of the game that it was the English.”

For longer, the coach stopped at the 3000 supporters in the Emirates Stadium. “I thought at the start of the game that it was the English. Only it was our supporters. That sincerely produced a special atmosphere.”

“I would almost say make the season tickets for free if this atmosphere yields,” Bosz joked, who was referring to the club’s gestures to reimburse the tickets for this competition. The trainer also ran to the branch after the game to thank the fans. “It is also the symbolic end of the Champions League. Then you go with the entire staff there and the supporters have earned that too. Make no mistake, that support does something to the team.”
