FC Bayern Munich received a punishment for the misconduct of some fans a day after the quarter-finals in the Champions League in German Duel with Bayer Leverkusen. The German record champion has to pay a total of 61,750 euros, and UEFA also condemned Bayern to close the blocks 111 to 114 in the next European Cup home game. However, this punishment was suspended for two years.
Specifically, FC Bayern was punished for the ignition of fireworks, throwing objects and blocking public rounds in the round of 16 first leg against Leverkusen. The UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary chamber made these decisions.
Bavaria will compete against Inter Milan in the first half of April in the Champions League. The quarter-final first leg will take place on April 8th or 9th in Munich. Then the fans are under closer observation.
