In the Champions League game against Leverkusen, the Bayern fans in the Allianz Arena made a mood. But that could now have serious consequences.

The German record champion Bayern Munich was sentenced to a fine and a partial closure of the stadium on probation due to the behavior of his fans in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen (3-0). This was announced by the European Football Union (UEFA) on Wednesday. Bavarian followers had detonated large amounts of pyrotechnics before the game kick -off in Munich last week.

The club has to pay 50,000 euros for this offense. To do this, individual sectors (blocks 111 to 114) of the Munich Arena should remain closed in the next European Cup home game, but this sanction imposed the UEFA on probation for two years. In addition, there are 7,000 euros in punishment for blocking public traffic routes and 4,750 euros due to the throwing of an object.

It is not the first time that Bayern has recently threatened a fan exclusion. In the past Champions League season, for example, the Munich had violated a probation penalty and had to do without their followers in the quarterfinals away from Arsenal at FC Arsenal due to pyro incidents.
