The Danish bike star Jonas Vingegaard just missed the stage victory on the fourth stage of the Paris-Nizza cycling ride, but took over the overall lead.

After a storm-related chaotic racing phase and the subsequent neutralization of the race on Wednesday (12.03.2025), the top favor was intercepted by Joao Almeida (Portugal/UAE Emirates-XRG) at the host.

Lipowitz fifth after strong performance

A storm had previously disrupted the “race to the sun”: Because of the capricious weather, the organizers neutralized the fourth part in the meantime, this decision fell 45 kilometers before the finish due to a mixture of heavy rain with snow and hail.
