Four men are on trial today and tomorrow for help desk fraud. They were caught red -handed in December 2023 in a holiday home on a park in Gasselternijveen.

Of the men between the ages of 23 and 19 from Groningen, Zwolle, Veenhuizen and Nieuwegein, only the Groninger is still detained. He is also suspected of cyber crime cases that he would have committed in Groningen in April 2023, together with a 30-year-old man from Assen. The Groningen case will be dealt with separately on Wednesday morning. The scamming case in Gasselijveen was a coincidence for the police.
