At the U23 European Wrestling Championship held between 8-14 March 2025 in Tirana, Albania, the national wrestler Nesrin Baş, who competed in 68 kilograms, won the gold medal by defeating his Ukrainian rival Magnolia Skobelska 6-2 after a contentious struggle in the final.
