Delft: Lecture freshwater fish

Fish lovers have to go to Delft this week. On Tuesday 11 March there will be a lecture about Dutch freshwater fish in the natural shed In Delft. During this lecture, the distribution, ecology, habitat and characteristics of different fish species are discussed in more detail. The problems they experience are also discussed, such as decrease in numbers and the distribution of exotics. The room opens at 7.40 pm and registration is not necessary.

Partylovers Thursday’s Latin Cocktails Edition

On Thursday, March 13, 1892 is organizing food & drinks the Partylovers Thursday’s Latin Cocktails Edition. Enjoy an evening full of colorful lighting, Latin cocktails and salsa, bachata, kizomba, merengue and reggaeton music. The dress code is Colorful & Elegant. The evening lasts from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and the access is 10 euros.

The Hague: Disco Bingo at Bar Bea

Test your music knowledgeBar BeaIn The Hague on Thursday 13 March during the Disco Bingo. Don’t play numbers and scratch numbers, but listen to music plates and they look for your bingo card. Do you have bingo? Then you win a prize.

Participating in the Bingo costs 10 euros and it starts at 9 p.m. Do you want to have a bite to eat? Then you can eat a burger for 25 euros from 7.30 pm, this price includes access to the bingo. You can register by emailing to[email protected]but you can also walk in spontaneously.

Holika combustion

The Hindu community in Zoetermeer heralds Hindu New Year with Holi Phagua and Holi Dahan. In the Van Tuyllpark (Van der Hagenstraat 5) the Holika burning takes place every year in which the ceremonial firming sets fire. This is to burn the evil of the past year. This year it is on Thursday 13 March at 7.30 p.m. The supporting act starts at 6.45 pm with Poedja (a ceremony where offerings are offered and prayers are recited and sung) and music.

Happy Holi

On Friday, March 14, you can celebrate the colorful Happy Holi at Gro-Up Buurtwerk. From 2 pm to 5.30 pm you can enjoy a program with music, color powder, music performance and snacks and drinks. The event is free and takes place at Zanzibarplein 11. View the program in the agenda item below.
