Finnish humor kaj won the Swedish Melodifestivalen on Saturday evening. Thus, they represent Sweden in May at the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland.
Mayor Jan Finne’s phone has been playing without a victory. Iltalehti reached Finne on Sunday at 4 pm at a meeting where municipal decision -makers planned a winning party and the events of the coming months around KAJ.
– We are currently sitting at the planning meeting. We can’t talk about our plans yet, Finne laughs.
Finne promises that much is still coming. At this stage, he cannot say exactly whether the event is now organized or in May at the doorstep of the Eurovision Song Contest. However, this will soon be announced.
– You don’t dare to promise what’s coming, but the party is! The mayor promises.
On Saturday, a race stand was held for the municipalities. More than 400 municipalities were present. Vöyr municipality in Ostrobothnia has about 6,000 inhabitants.
– The municipality has received a lot of good feedback on KAJ’s performance, success and yesterday’s race stand. Everyone has been so happy with Saturday’s party, Finne says.

– Yes, I believe that even though it is part of the tradition of all of us Finns, it is getting a new pace now! Finne says.
KAJ’s victory means a lot to the municipality of Vöyr.
– This is quite historic, there is no other way to describe this. This is unique and so great! More is coming and there will be a lot to expect from them, Finne concludes.
