The last decision of the ski jumper at the Nordic Ski World Cup is accompanied by severe allegations. Several nations made protest against the hosts from Norwegians on Sunday.
Again serious allegations for supposed suit cheating in ski jumping. Austria, Slovenia and Poland see irregularities in the suits of the Norwegian jumpers.
During the decision by the large hill, protest against the evaluation of all Norwegian jumpers. The suspicion: the Scandinavians are said to have changed their suits after the official chip.
Florian Liegl, sporting director at the Austrian Ski Association, in which “ARD”, said: “Together with Slovenia and Poland, we have lodged a protest against the starter permit of the Norwegian jumper. In our opinion, one cannot guarantee that the suits that are jumped are jumped in the regulations.”
DSV demands “Enlightenment” of the FIS
Videos were previously known in which Norwegians obviously sew on their suits in her team hotel. According to a report by the “Bild” newspaper, the windows are taped with a black film. In view of the “videos you saw”, there is a suspicion that suits after chipping were manipulated. That’s why we did it. Now we are waiting for what the jury and the FIS are doing, and then we will see, “said Liegl.
In the German camp, the question marks are large: Horst Hüttel, sports director of the German Ski Association (DSV), said in the “ARD”: “We see a considerable need for refurbishment. You can walk around here videos that are absolutely bizarre.
The DSV has now called for a written statement from the FIS. “We clearly call for the FIS to uncover the situation.” However, the association did not sign the protest because “individual passages” did not agree, for example with the cancellation of all the results of the Norwegians at the Nordic Ski World Cup.
Jan Erik Aalbu, athletic director of Norway, meanwhile fended off the explosive allegations soberly: “The video shows that our husband prepares suits for the wooden colle, for the RAW Air. This is nothing special. We are preparing three new suits for the RAW Air.” The jumping will take place in Norway from March 13th to 16th.
