A scooter in a ditch at Nieuw-Dordrecht caused consternation this morning. Police officers, firefighters, ambulance personnel and even a diving team pulled out, but the driver was missing.
A scooter is parked neatly in the ditch on the Second Boerwijk, containing a few dozen centimeters of water. A little further on, a helmet drives and there are some beer bottles. Reason for bystanders to sound the alarm. The only thing that is missing is the driver and the license plate of the scooter.
The diving team can leave the compressed air bottles in the car, a few high boots are enough. The scooter is pulled on the side with a cable. The police are investigating who has parked the scooter in the ditch.
