First date on the altar new participants are currently being sought for the program. Banijay Finland, a program production company, has released an ad on its Instagram account that talks about a “renewed first date”.

In its publication, the production company encourages HLBTIQ+people to apply for the program.

– Is it time to see a rainbow pair in the altar for the upcoming season? First date on the altar invites everyone to love! The production company writes in its publication.

There is also a point on the program application form where you need to mark which sex person is looking for for themselves. The alternatives are a woman, a man, whichever or anything else. Gender also needs to mean an alternative to a woman, a man or other.

So far, in the Finnish version of the series, all couples have been heterosexual. In the summer of 2024, the program experts told Iltalehti that it was close that the program had seen a same -sex couple. However, this did not happen.

In February, MTV, who plays the program, announced that the upcoming season would not see chicken and sexual and couple therapist Tapani from the area.
