Iris van den Ende, the daughter of Joop van den Ende, tries to save her event Holland Zingt Hazes by breaking – at least for the stage – all ties with Rachel Hazes.
The question has been raised more and more often lately: is it still ethical to go to Holland Zingt Hazes? Whether to participate as an artist? This year Rachel Hazes is the co-producer of the event in the Ziggo Dome, together with Iris van den Ende, and everyone knows where the money goes that she earns with it: her lawyer.
Construction
Rachel litigates everyone the mother, to her own son. And let André Jr. be just the most important artist of that entire Holland sings Hazes. Iris is now intervening: she has already got Rachel so far to stay away from the Ziggo Dome this year, and now her absence appears to take a permanent shape.
What exactly is it? From next year, Rachel will no longer play a role ‘in the organization’, Iris’ Company Medialane confirms RTL Boulevard. Iris states that from next year, Rachel with her company Melvin Produkties will no longer be involved with Holland Zingt Hazes, but: “They make no statements about the construction of this deal.”
Good consultation
The only thing Medialane wants to say about it? “It went in good consultation.”
And everyone knows that there is very little in good consultation at Rachel, unless it benefits it financially. “It is not clear whether and how much money is involved,” says Boulevard. “It does mean that from 2026 the entire organization and exploitation of the event is in the hands of Medialane.”
Bought off?
It is of course possible that Rachel has been bought off with a one -time lump sum, but it can also be that Rachel is no longer interfering with the show, but still does not receive money for the event.
And in the latter case, of course, nothing changes at all and both visiting and singing at Holland remains extremely debatable. And there is a chance that André will be there next year, because he recently said: “Making money for Rachel on that stage, ensures that I can’t look in the mirror well, you understand?”
