FC Bayern clearly gains against Bayer Leverkusen. Two Bayern stars are particularly towered over. The individual criticism.

Julian Buhl reports from Munich

After a real demonstration of power, the professionals of FC Bayern danced in front of their fans and enjoyed the giant step towards the quarter -finals. After the best seasonal performance and the goals of the offensive stars Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala to 3-0 (1-0) in the German Champions League hit against the new rival Bayer Leverkusen, the move into the next round of the Champions League appears only a matter of form.

“It’s really a big step in the right direction,” said Kane at the streaming service DAZN: “Half of the job is done, now we are looking forward to next week.” The two goals are probably the most important that he has achieved with Bayern so far.

The football record champion from Munich celebrated the first victory against Leverkusen’s master coach Xabi Alonso 87 days before the longed-for home final. It was also a great success for coach Vincent Kompany. The “Werkelf” acted in front of 75,000 spectators and had no chance.

Leverkusen could be happy to just go into the break with one goal. After the restart, however, there was a similar picture and the goals two and three were found. The joy was only clouded by a blessing by Manuel Neuer, who had injured the 2-0 jubilation and had to be replaced by Jonas Urbig, who was only committed in winter. Coach Vincent Kompany was even able to smile about the curious injury after the game (you can read more about this here).

The coach, especially two of his stars, gave the coach with outstanding performances. You can find out who that was in individual criticism here or in the photo show above.
