05.03.2025 – 11:16 p.m.Reading time: 2 min.

FC Barcelona has to cope with an early setback in the Champions League, but prevails. Liverpool is very lucky.
The Catalans around the former German national coach Flick deservedly earned a 1-0 (0: 0) victory at Benfica Lisbon, for the Raphinha (61st). Liverpool won 1-0 (0: 0) with plenty of luck with Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a late hit by Harvey Elliott (87.).
In Lisbon, the focus was on Berlin referee Felix Zwayer. After a tackling of the only 18-year-old Barça defender Pau Cubarsí, the referee decided to disfigure in the 22nd minute of play-an enormous mortgage for Flick’s team, which, however, fought into the game.
Again and again the most dangerous team in the league -in league showed its qualities, but the 1-0 fell surprisingly at the time. In the second leg on March 11, the possible quarter -final opponent of Borussia Dortmund continues to have all chances and is then a favorite as a home team.
This also applies to Liverpool, which, however, has to increase significantly. In Paris, the team of team manager Arne Slot quickly got under enormous pressure and also needed a lot of luck. The alleged early opening goal of PSG offensive star Chwitscha Kwarazchelia was revoked due to a wafer-thin away position (20th), five minutes later “Reds” defender Ibrahima Konaté was the last man to continue a penalty-but was able to continue.
After that, keeper Alisson Becker had to grab before his team turned the game upside down.
