The A4 between the Belgian border and Woensdrecht was closed for hours on Wednesday evening due to an accident with two trucks at the Markiezaat junction. Rijkswaterstaat spent hours storing the trucks.
It is not known how the truck drivers are doing. The havoc on the road was great. The trucks blocked the entire way. Both lanes were closed until Wednesday evening.
Traffic from Belgium that had to go to Tilburg or Eindhoven could detour via the A16, A59 or A27 in the direction of Rotterdam or Waalwijk.
