Edgar Prib ends his career with immediate effect. The 35-year-old contract with SpVgg Greuther Fürth II would originally have been valid until the end of the season, but the body no longer played. However, the midfielder is preserved for the cloverleaf, as the club announced, PriB becomes a sporting employee in the academy, which it once went through.

“I would have loved to finish the season, but my body sends clear signals that it is now time to stop playing football. I look back on my career and every single station with great gratitude. The fact that I completed my last game at the cloverleaf, my heart club, in which U23 has completed me. The phase around the end of the player career is a difficult one. I am all the more grateful to those responsible in the club for the support, the accompaniment during this time. Therefore, I can now be convinced and look forward to the time after the active career, in the Kleeblatt NLZ, where everything started for me almost 30 years ago, ”said Prib, who came to Fürth with his family at the age of two.

He played most of the games in his career for Hannover 96 with 137, which in 2013 paid a million revenue for his services, followed by Fürth with 110 games.
