In the summer of 2024, Toni Kroos ended his career. But soon he will be seen on the lawn, although not in the usual environment.
Almost three months after his retreat from the public, Toni Kroos reported back. The former midfielder of Real Madrid announced that on March 10th he will be on the pitch at an event of the “Icon League” in Düsseldorf. The indoor soccer league he co-founded, which is held in small field format, started last year.
In December, Kroos announced that it would withdraw from the public for a few months. “I just want to get out for myself for myself,” the 34-year-old had explained at the time.
In 2024 Kroos won his sixth champions League title with Real Madrid. He then played the home European Championship with the German national team, which ended for the team in the quarter-finals against Spain. It was the last game of his active career.
