On the way to school, the train I sit in at a station is considered. The woman opposite me asks: “Can you pay attention to my bag? I have to go to the toilet. ” Me: “Of course, but I don’t think you go to the toilet at a station.” She sits back in astonishment. A little later, one of my 6 VWO students comes to the train and comes to sit with us. The moment we leave the station, the woman asks: “Can I go to the toilet now?”, After which she walks away. My student looks at me surprised and says: “Do everyone really have to ask you first?”
