FC Barcelona is again the leaders in the Spanish championship after a superior victory. The team of the former national coach Hansi Flick prevailed 4-0 (2-0) in the home game against Real Sociedad San Sebastián. With now 57 points, Barça, after less than 24 hours of Atlético Madrid, repreded again in the table.
Atlético prevailed 1-0 against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday and thus realized the third -placed city rival by two points. The Champions League winner, who meets Atlético in the round of 16 of the premier class, had lost 1-2 at Real Betis Sevilla. Led by the former Leipziger Dani Olmo, Barcelona celebrated the sixth league victory in series. After an early red card for Aritz (17th minute) due to an emergency brake on Olmo, the gates scored in the first half at the preparatory work by the midfield star Gerard Martín (25th) and Marc Casadó (29th). Ronald Araujo (56.) and Robert Lewandowski (60th) ensured the superior victory with their goals in the second round.
