Five men were arrested in Ulvenhout due to a large drug find. On Thursday, 2,598 kilos of cocaine were intercepted in the port of Vlissingen with a street value of 65 million euros. The load was intended for a shed in Ulvenhout. That shed was invaded by the special interventions service on Friday.
The drugs were found in various pallets with fruit from Ecuador.
The five men come from Dalfsen (44), Hilversum (47) and Hoevelaken (44). Two men aged 30 and 31 do not have a permanent place of residence or residence.
In the shed, a truck, truck with trailer, horse trailer, trailer, two delivery vans and a forklift truck have been seized.
The drugs have since been destroyed.
