Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) has extended the restriction on prescribing the Ozempic diabetes medicine until November 30 this year. This means that the medicine is reserved for people with type 2 diabetes or a BMI too high. That teaches a Royal Decree that recently appeared in the Official Gazette.
