FC Bayern apparently withdraws from Kimmich

FC Bayern has extended the contract with players like Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies or Manuel Neuer. At Joshua Kimmich, however, the negotiations drag on.
The footballing future of Joshua Kimmich seems more uncertain than ever. Because as the “Bild” reports on Thursday, FC Bayern is said to have withdrawn its current offer through a contract extension. That is a reaction to Kimmich’s hesitation.
For several months, players and clubs have been talking to each other about an extension of the contract that expires in the summer of 2025. But there is still no clear signal from the player to the club, writes the “picture”. This does not like the club bosses, which is why they are said to have communicated Kimmich that their offer is no longer valid.
The “evening newspaper” had reported on Wednesday that it was only decided not to increase the offer available. As a result, the order to the player is connected to the player to decide promptly – so that the record champions can plan for the future.
With Kimmich, however, an anchor from the Bayern game would break away if the new turning point was deterred by the player. Because it is clear: Even if the current offer should no longer be valid, an extension would continue to be possible if Kimmich clearly signals its interest.
Ex-national coach Joachim Löw had already said “one like none” as part of the Thomas Müller documentary on a T-online request that he believed in the 30-year-old’s whereabouts in Munich. “I know the Jo, he feels comfortable here, has his family here and is also very loyal to the club. He almost spent his entire career here,” said Löw.
